This meeting was hosted by President Elect Jeff Tromberg. We were pleased to have Doug Mosley of ESPN as our guest speaker. Doug joined ESPN in April 2014, and helped launch the inaugural Boca Raton Bowl, a postseason college football bowl game owned and operated by ESPN Events, played annually at FAU Stadium, located on the campus of Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Fla.
Since that time, the game has added a title sponsor – now named the RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl – and has logged seven successful years with cumulative viewership surpassing 20 million households and total sponsoring value just under $200 million.
Mosley came to Boca Raton with more than 25 years’ experience in on-campus roles in intercollegiate athletics and also a background in media, having worked in newspaper, television and radio.
A native of Seehorn, Ill., Mosley earned his bachelor’s degree from Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Mo. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Palm Beach County Sports Commission, Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County, YMCA of South Palm Beach County and the Spirit of Giving Network.
