Doug joined ESPN in April 2014, and helped launch the inaugural Boca Raton Bowl, a postseason college football bowl game owned and operated by ESPN Events, played annually at FAU Stadium, located on the campus of Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Fla. The Club was pleased to induct Stacy Bradford as a new member. Stacy grew up in Wellington, FL. After high school she began working as a teller at what would eventually become Bank of America. Over 11 years, Stacy worked her way up to private banking on the exclusive island of Palm Beach handling banking, investing and portfolio management, high net worth lending, and trust and estate management. Visit to the FAU Library


On Wednesday, December 21 the Rotary Club of Boca Raton held its weekly meeting at the S. E. Wimberly Library on the Boca Raton campus of Florida Atlantic University.  Dr. Linda Marie Golian-Lui is the Dean of Libraries, and an active Rotarian for over 11 years.  The Wimberly library includes group study rooms, a graduate study lounge4, seating for over 1,200 users, an electronic classroom, ADA workstations, an audiovisual media center, and three computer labs. We were delighted to do a Craft Talk with Todd Halls. Todd grew up in Motley, MN. Small town of a few hundred people. He is thankful to have had some amazing teachers at Motley that didn’t give up on him. Club Raises $15,000+ to Help Member Marina Kapulovska who Lost Her Home due to a Devastating Fire


The club came together for a holiday jam featuring bands with Club members to express our support for Marina. It raised in excess of $15,000 to help her get resettled. There were a number of musicians playing and singing including Bob Buruchian, David Dweck, Sonny Lee and Chris Maners with daughter Juliette. We were pleased to have Matthew ‘Whiz’ Buckley as our guest speaker this week.  From a recent interview: I graduated from Jacksonville University and was commissioned as an Ensign in the United States Navy and was selected for flight training.
