The Club was delighted to have Past President Spence Siegel give a craft talk.   He went to the University of Miami and the University of South Florida for undergrad and then attended law school at St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami. He talked about Estate Planning, which is primarily helping families plan for incapacity or death. He recommends using a Trust versus a Will and gave some good reasons. The Club was delighted to induct Judy Weaver. Judy has over 30 years of learning and teaching as a yoga therapist, teacher and family member.  Judy is a yoga therapist and a yoga teacher-of-teachers with over 30 years of experience and is the founder of Connected Warriors and Bodymind Recalibration. Judy is known for her expertise in the world of post-traumatic-growth. Jeff Tromberg conducted a very interesting Craft Talk with Club member Rachel Huerta, APRN. With over a decade of experience, Rachel provides patient-centered care both in the office and hospital settings. She believes that knowing your patient and creating a relationship with them is vital to helping them achieve their wellness goals. She provides "full-service" medical care and includes in-house lab draws, imaging on-site, hospital care and same-day appointments if needed. Rachel is married to her husband Jody. We were pleased to induct a new member, Juan Bandino, into our club. He is currently an associate attorney at J. Perez Legal, PA in Cooper City where he practices in real estate and business law.  Juan was born in New York and moved to Florida at a young age, but he has bounced around living between the two states his entire life. He graduated in 2008 from Flanagan High School in Pembroke Pines where he was a member of student government and a senior class officer. We were delighted to welcome Thomas ‘Tom’ Giunta as our newest member. He is a Financial Planner with Equitable Financial Advisors.  Tom was born and raised in Staten Island, NY. Growing up, Tom loved playing baseball. He was chosen to be on the all-star team for many years. At the age of 13, he rode an ATV and had an accident in which he was nearly killed. We were pleased to have Ruth Bowling of AdventHealth as our guest speaker. Ruth is a graduate of Atlantic Union College.  Prior to coming on board at AdventHealth, she worked for Brown & Brown as an insurance agent, focusing primarily on non-profits and governmental entities.   Since 2013 Ruth has been privileged to represent AdventHealth Foundation (formerly Florida Hospital Foundation), which partners with Rotary Clubs to provide hope and healing to children around the world.  Ruth is an honorary member of four Rotary Clubs in District 6980 and has been made a multiple Paul Harris Fellow. We were pleased to celebrate and recognize Claudia DuBois for her 10th anniversary as the Club Administrator. Lots of members provided positive reflections on how wonderful Claudia is as a person and what she means to the club.  We also celebrated and recognized Pia Giannone for her becoming a second level Paul Harris Fellow in which she has now given $2,000 to the Rotary Foundation. Finally, our Club supports giving every Boca Raton third grader a personal dictionary.
