The Club was delighted to induct Judy Weaver. Judy has over 30 years of learning and teaching as a yoga therapist, teacher and family member.
Judy is a yoga therapist and a yoga teacher-of-teachers with over 30 years of experience and is the founder of Connected Warriors and Bodymind Recalibration. Judy is known for her expertise in the world of post-traumatic-growth. She has developed evidence-based Trauma-Conscious Yoga protocols based on the understanding that trauma is held in the cells of the body and mind. She refined this practice with Bodymind Recalibration – a practice that builds cognitive and somatic bodymind relationships.
Judy was a member of Yoga Alliance Standard Review, Advisory Board and is a member of IAYT’s Competency Evaluation team, a best-selling author and a significant contributor to books and university studies. Judy serves on the board of directors for South Florida Social Entrepreneurs, regional chapter of Social Enterprise Alliance, a national membership organization who are catalysts for social enterprise and as a voice for more sustainable social impact.  She lives in South Florida with her husband and their two Maine Coon cats.
She has developed protocols for three university clinical studies used by Connected Warriors and health care practitioners, and she has been a member of Yoga Alliance Advisory Board, On-line Presenter and part of their Core Curriculum Working Group and contributor to the YSC book “Best Practices for Yoga for Veterans”.
She has elevated the warriors in our community by engaging them in a process of healing, growth and change in ways that benefit themselves, their families and the community. Using a community-based approach, Connected Warriors strives to partner with all agencies that benefit veterans and their families.  Connected Warriors acts as a leading advocate for veterans, active-duty military, and veteran services with local, state, and the federal government.
