The Club was delighted to have Jalane Meloun, Ph.D., as our guest craft keynote speaker. Dr. Meloun is a Full Professor for Barry University, teaching in the Schools of Business and of Education, Leadership, & Human Development. She instructs business, psychology, IT, HR, project management, ethics, Total Quality Management (TQM), research methods, entrepreneurship, and statistics courses. She is the past Academic Coordinator for the (Business) Administration Department. The Club was delighted to have Camila Mychalczuk (“MUH-CAL-CHECK”) as our speaker. She is proud to represent Florida Atlantic University as the Director of Local Relations.  She started her career at Florida Atlantic at the A.D. Henderson School and FAU High School as a School Counselor in March 2021 and transitioned to the Office of Government Relations in January.  The Office of Government Relations promotes and reinforces FAU as a valued community partner, advocates for the University at all levels of government, and facilitates partnerships with the community. David has a professional background in clinical research, human services and public health. David’s role as a Program Manager is to provide Alzheimer's Association programs and services to communities, organizations, businesses, professionals, families and individuals living with Alzheimer's disease or any other type of dementia. The Rotary Club of Boca Raton held its annual banquet for installation of the officers and directors for 2022-2023 at Maggiano’s restaurant. We were delighted to have Patch Paczkowski, Professor of Business, Adams School of Entrepreneurship, FAU. Bill (“Patch”) Paczkowski, Ph.D., J.D., M.B.A., served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps for thirteen years, and worked as an attorney/consultant for a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs. Dr. Paczkowski has authored multiple journal articles and conference presentations, coordinates mentorship opportunities for entrepreneurs, and is actively involved in aiding the successful transition of student veterans to the civilian sector of employment. Jeff Tromberg led a Craft Talk with Bill Riddick.  William (Bill) Riddick is a second-generation Floridian born in Boynton Beach and raised in Boca Raton, FL. His mother was born in the small seaside town of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea and his father moved to Pompano Beach, FL in the 60s where his family has multiple businesses. Right on the heels of electing Jeff Tromberg to become President of the Club for 2022-2023, Jeff provided the Club members with a Craft Talk moderated by member Steve Clarfield.  Jeff grew up in Bayside, NY, moved to South Florida in the middle of high school, attended the University of Miami and stayed on to attend Law School.  From the very beginning in 1991, he has specialized in consumer bankruptcy law with a focus on helping people struggling to save their homes from foreclosure.
