Barbara Vega is Director of Missions Expansion/Grants with Cross International/Cross Catholic Outreach, an international relief and development ministry in South Florida, with a mission to advance the physical, social, educational, and spiritual well-being of beneficiaries in 40 countries on four continents. Ms. Vega has assisted in shaping development initiatives in hundreds of communities around the world.    The department she currently directs generates over $2M a year to assist the poor worldwide. Gianni was born in Caracas, Venezuela. Following his long dream to live in Europe, he moved at the age of 27 to the Valle D’Aosta region of Italy, from where his family originated. Rotary Supports Boca Helping Hands Fund Raiser

A number of Rotary members supported Boca Helping Hands (our local food bank) with a virtual fund raiser. The MC was Club member Neil Saffer. Club member Bob Buruchian and his son managed the video, Neil’s wife managed the giving results and many Club members provided donations and bid on auction items. Volunteers Against Scams Team (VAST) assists citizens of Palm Beach County who have been targeted as victims of financial crimes.
