Dear Rotary Family, From the moment I submitted the application to the George Snow Foundation to receiving a phone call from Mr. Allen, my world changed a full 360 degrees.  Going into College as one of the students that had a shaky future ahead, I obtained a Mentor, a Friend, and a Father figure that guided me through the best and worst moments of University life. Rotary Scholarship Recipient Rosa Barbosa Receives Degree

Andrea O'Rourke's mentee Rosa Barbosa just received her AA degree from Palm Beach State thanks to the help of the Rotary Club of Boca Raton. She is now about to enter the fall semester and work toward her four year degree. Huge thanks to Pia for her continued help and advice.  She is the first in her family to reach this achievement

Youth in Government Day for Local High School Students

Pictured above is member Andrea O'Rourke who is on the City of Boca Raton City Council. The audience included students from Boca Raton and Spanish River High Schools.  Each year, Boca Rotary works with the City of Boca Raton to sponsor a ‘Youth in Government Day’ in which students get to meet and interact with different departments of the city government. Dr. Dennis Fritch then was MC to enable each student who attended the Rotary luncheon to share what they had learned that day. What a day for everyone!

Rotary Scholarship Student and Single Mom Julissa Maldonado Given a Car Weekly Meeting August 14th, 2019 Pictured above are Michelle Balaun with Wheels from the Heart, Club President Vanessa Havener, Club member Art Polacheck, Julissa Maldonado who is receiving the keys to her car which was awarded by Wheels from the Heartand, lastly, Steve Muschlitz, a Founder of Wheels from the Heart who arranged for the gift to Julissa.
