He works for Rise Against Hunger – an international hunger relief organization that is also a Collaborating Organization with Rotary International.  Rise Against Hunger distributes food and life-changing aid to the world's most vulnerable. They focus on the issue of hunger from a global perspective. Each year they mobilize over 400,000 volunteers around the world to provide over 60 million meals in 70 countries. Valerie L. Dutreuil received a Rotary Club Scholarship in 2013. She graduated Florida Atlantic University in 2017 with a B.S. She is currently pursuing her masters in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Boston University School of Public Health.  She is also a research assistant at Boston University where she is working on a grant for Dr. Harlow to determine whether women with immune system disorders or acute conditions that affect immune system will be more at risk in experiencing chronic vulvar pain. The Club was pleased to receive a great talk from Albert Slap, President of Coast Risk Consulting - a geospatial technology, modeling and data analytics company located in Boca Raton. Albert grew up in the Philadelphia area and earned a B.A., University of Pennsylvania (1971) and then a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law (1974).
