Donation Collection for Changing Lives Boutique

We will be collecting items for the Changing Lives Boutique at our weekly meeting next Wednesday, 9/11/24 Changing Lives is a non-profit that is dedicated to transforming the lives of our area's homeless population. They provide basic needs, resources, health and wellness referrals, mentorship, employment placement and so much more. The goal is to help these men and women transition from a life of hopelessness to hopefulness and, most importantly, independent and self-sustaining living. On Wednesday, December 21 the Rotary Club of Boca Raton held its weekly meeting at the S. E. Wimberly Library on the Boca Raton campus of Florida Atlantic University.  Dr. Linda Marie Golian-Lui is the Dean of Libraries, and an active Rotarian for over 11 years.  The Wimberly library includes group study rooms, a graduate study lounge4, seating for over 1,200 users, an electronic classroom, ADA workstations, an audiovisual media center, and three computer labs. We were delighted to do a Craft Talk with Todd Halls. Todd grew up in Motley, MN. Small town of a few hundred people. He is thankful to have had some amazing teachers at Motley that didn’t give up on him.
